I’m going to utilize links to help explain Reactive Attachment Disorder.  I am only an expert on Stephanie.  The short answer is that RAD is a disorder wherein the child had problems attaching- to their caregiver, other people, the environment in general.  Of course it’s a lot more involved than that!  Here’s a great list of FAQ’s, my favorite being this one.
