Sewing with Bonnie of Fishsticks

Today’s project is a medium Fattycakes pocket fitted to match this monkey outfit:

My sewing room is actually a corner off of the family room. It’s nice, though, with lots of storage and room to spread out when I need to. The yellow paint’s not nearly that bright in real life.

The obligatory pin picture. They are really pretty, aren’t they?

Piles of cotton knits, ready to become diapers, trainers, raglan shirts . . .

Getting the pattern ready.

My little helper.

Need to put hidden snaps on, but . . . um . . . what’s that next to my snap press? Those pants, again. My dear hubby will be so glad when I finally get around to sewing the button back on. For now, though, I’ll just move them out of the way . . . again.

Finishing up the elastic.

Ready to be serged.

All done.
