A pattern that I make for someone else, knowing full well I will never use it, will not be good. I cannot test it on myself, and don’t “feel” it enough. If I try it on, I can’t tell if it looks good. From here forward, design what you love, not what will be popular!
I’m sure this will limit my Mama item following, since my Mama clothes are decidedly, um, hmmmm….
Casual.
But I do have “casual” skirts and other things, and I think that’s what I should stick with.
My thanks to my beloved test monkey Mama friend for helping me figure that out. I hope you love what comes of yours, but I think it will be a limited item since I’ll have no way of knowing if it sucks!
Also.
Seriously.
Chunky women may not be the best at sewing for skinny minnies. I’m just sayin’.

ACK! I’m so sorry. I do agree that you should sew what you love. I had no idea.
