Turning Japanese

Oh I know. But as a teen of the 80’s I had an obligation to use that title for this post.

I did some shopping yesterday, really restrained myself to 3 yards, 1 yard per print. I am such a huge fan of these cute little prints, not all Japanese either. I am just loving the categories of vintage, Japanese import, fairytale and wilderness animals in cartoonish presentation. And seventies owls and mushrooms. I am also back in the land of wovens, almost everything on my list of “to buy” is woven thanks to my new pinafore obsession. I won’t say “goodbye” to Olivia just yet, I think that I’ll stay faithful to her, but I’m loving my new pinafores!

I also checked out a book about patchwork at the library yesterday because I don’t know how else I’ll manage to use these prints but in little bits!
